I studied fashion at Otis College of Art & Design in Los Angeles, California, and after working as a bridal gown designer for Watters in Dallas, Texas, I decided to continue my studies at Purdue University, where I earned a master's degree in the intersection of art, design, and anthropology to thoroughly research effective methods and ethical practices in collaborations with textile artisans.

Since then, I have lived in Guatemala, Peru, and now in beautiful Oaxaca, a place that has opened the doors to an extraordinary world of textiles, culture, and tradition. I am a native of Jalisco, in love with the Oaxaqueño richness and admiring—as well as proud of—our Mexican art and folklore heritage.

Design and craftsmanship are my love languages.
